Our service stations are going greener!
Pumangol has taken a major step towards integrating renewable energy into our service stations.
On April 13, 2024, we proudly inaugurated our 82nd service station—PA FTU!
Strategically located on Avenida Deolinda Rodrigues, in the Municipality of Cazenga, PA FTU addresses previous fueling challenges faced by the region’s drivers.
Its construction posed significant engineering challenges due to the site's conditions, including high groundwater levels, contaminated soil, and underground electrical cables from ENDE, among others.
PA FTU is also a milestone in our commitment to sustainability, being the first Pumangol service station to incorporate a solar energy system—enhancing energy efficiency and reducing CO₂ emissions. Additionally, its convenience store marks the 24th SPAR store in our network, initially established in Luanda.
The inauguration was attended by distinguished representatives from Sonangol, IRDP, Banco Keve, and United Investimentos—the owner of SPAR stores—including:
- Eng. José Barroso, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum, and Gas
- Eng. Osvaldo Inácio, Sonangol Administrator
- Eng. Mauro Graça, CEO of UNDC
- Dr. Luís Fernandes, General Director of IRDP
